Sorry I've been gone.....well not "gone" just busy!

I wanted to give you a "sneak peek" of the cards I am offering for the Stamp A Stack on October 28-29.

All Occasion Cards

If you would like to come I would love to have you....so here are the details:

When:  Friday October 28th 1:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

             Saturday, October 29th 8:00 - Noon

Where:  St. Joe Fire Hall

Cost:  $20 for 20 cards (5 different cards 4 of each)

RSVP by Friday, October 21st

I do offer Make and Take packets, I will make one full card and stamp the others, just ready for you to put together.

6 x 6 One Sheet Wonder

I had an opportunity yesterday to do some playing around....it doesn't happen very often but it sure is fun.  Finally I figured out how to make 6 full size cards out of one 6 x 6 sheet of designer paper.  Here is a picture of the 6 cards:

Next week I will have post a video on how to cut the designer paper, I will also post a copy of the dimensions of all pieces.

Sunshine Stampers Product Extravaganza

Last January our Sunshine Stampers Group decided to hold a Product Extravaganza when the new Sale A Bration and All Occasion Mini catalog was unveiled, we had a wonderful turnout and are hoping for even more participation with our next Product Extravaganza.  Here are the details:

 We will have doorprizes, lots of displays/samples and of course demonstrations.  We are planning on having four demonstrations using the new products in the Holiday Catalog.  I would like to give you a little sneak peek into my demonstration using the Cookie Cutter Christmas and Cookie Cutter Halloween.  Here are two of my samples....

Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek

This new Holiday Mini is absolutely amazing....so many new products.  I'm so fortunate to be a Stampin' Up Demonstrator and have such amazing people in our Stampateers group,...every time a new catalog is unveiled we have a swap from all over Minnesota....we meet in the Minneapolis area, but for those of us that are outstate we are able to participate through the mail, thats what I choose.  So I needed to design two different cards and make 40 of each, it may sound overwhelming but really it isn't.  The hardest part of this is to narrow your stamp sets down...so I usually pick a suite or one stamp set with new designer paper and go to a corner in my house so I can't look at all the other ones...you think its funny, but really that is exactly what I have to do.  Here are the 2 cards that I will use for that swap.

Happy Week & Sneak Peek

Last week Dennis and  I had the most wonderful opportunity....we were asked to watch our newest grandson, Elliot.  He is the first born of our youngest son Stephen and his wife Michelle and will be 8 months old on Friday and he is quite a little character.  I thought I would let you know why I didn't post last week...we were so busy.

I love being a Stampin' Up Demonstrator....gives me the flexibility to be a grandma too!

Now....onto more business today....

As Demonstrator we get a sneak peek of the new Holiday Mini catalog that will be available on September 1st.....here is the catalog cover...

Customers should be receiving the catalog around August 20th...if you don't receive one and you would like one, please let me know.

Also, as a demonstrator we are able to swap cards with some amazing demonstrators so I would like to share with you two of the cards I'm swapping this month.  I just love the new Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle.

Storing Your Framelits and Thinlits

I have been struggling with how to store my framelits and thinlits.  I have been using a thick magnetic sheet, but they have become so expensive I had to come up with another idea.  Thanks to a fellow demonstrator I found out what to do...I hope you enjoy this video...

August Club Cards....Sneak Peek

August is just a few days away.  Every month, typically this 1st week of the month, I have an opportunity to meet with 24 amazing women, they may have started out as customers, but our relationships have grown into such friendships, like family.

Today I would like to give you a sneak peek of the club cards for next month.

This first card I received was from Carol S. she was in a swap I was in on Sunday.

I love this card....so quick and easy.  Its hard to tell from the picture but I used the Clear Wink of Stella on the flower.

People ask where I get my ideas from....well this one came from one of our Sunshine Stamper Demonstrators, Jennifer C.  We meet monthly and of course there is always stamping involved.  This really is a quick card doing some fancy folding.

If you would like to be a part of our monthly stamp club group please let me know.  The commitment is only for 4 months and you agree to purchase $20 each month....then one of those months you co-host the party and you don't have to do anything I provide everything and its at my house so easy!

I'm baaaack!

Oh my I didn't realize it has been such a long time since I posted....

On Sunday I had an opportunity to get together with other Stampin' Up demonstrators at our annual Creative Connection gathering.  There were over 200 demonstrators, with lots of displays, demonstrations, swapping and sharing, I even won a prize patrol......I had an amazing time.

This time made me realize that I need to keep my blog updated as well as more videos...I'm not very good at them, but perhaps you may learn something new.

I'll post some pictures later this week with our Monthly Stamp Club cards...remember you can start coming to club anytime that works for you all that is required is a four month commitment and remember one of those months you are co-hosting and will receive half of the hostess rewards!
